Hi there, I am wondering which kind of thread lift is most effective for lifting jowls. I am also wondering how the Mint thread lift compares to the Silhouette in terms of cost. Thank you so much! :o)
Answer: No threadlift lifts jowls like a little microcanula liposculpting under tum.local. Getting the jowls microcanula liposuctioned is really by far the best solution for jowls and is easy and quick with dramatic results. Cost is $1500-3000 and so worth it.

Answer: Threadlift The Silhouette threads are different from the Mint and Nova threads - they are longer lasting and bulkier, for more heavy lifting and projection, but a similar effect can be created with using more of the Mint and Nova threads. The Mint and Nova threads are very versatile, since they come in many different sizes and shapes, so I often combine Silhouette threads with the Mint and Nova threads during the same treatment, for an optimal result.

Answer: Which Minimally Invasive Thread Lift approach is best for face, jowl and other lifts? Dear jigv, Thanks for this question. You are well read and I had to look up the MINT lift as I was not aware of it. Just the same, I will introduce to you the EuroThread Lift, my experience and my opinions. Historically, from the land of the czars was the Gold Thread Lift originated as a gold wire threading to lift tissues. Based on the idea of the porcupines barbed quill was the first polypropylene barbed thread developed in the US 20 years ago called the Contour Thread. Most recently, PDO (polydioxane) dissolving threads with PLLA (poly-L-Lactic acid) anchoring cones were introduced about 2015. The South Koreans have rapidly created a rejuvenation nation most recently with the refinement of PDO / PLLA sutures and many different styles. Some manufacturers are EuroThread, MINT, Nova and others. Each has its benefits and limitations. Most importantly, these fine hairlike sutures with twists and barbs and PLLA last longer in the dermis and subcutaneous tissues to stimulate a prolonged controlled inflammatory-fibrosis phase of healing, This generates more collagen induction thereby lifting, firming and upregulating skin smoothening, acne and rosecea improvements. The Contour Threads did a great job in talented hands. Unfortunately, they were phased out by overall poor results from non-skilled physicians. In my humble opinion, the Silhouette InstaLift is bulky and due to its single guaged threads, break easily. The Korean companies have refined the art of thread-making. They now provide such a large variety, that in my hands, I am able to perform firming, improved texture, function and smoothening of the skin and lifting of nearly any face and body region. The addition of PLLA provides an extra stimulus over PDO in collagen production. The training and suture selection of EuroThreads is far superior to any of the other companies. I hope this is helpful. All the best!
