How often can i repeat silhouette soft? Will it damage facial tissues permanently?
Answer: How often can I repeat silhouette soft? Will it damage facial tissues permanently? Thank you for your question. The Silhouette Lift consists of small entry points made in your skin by a needle. There is no scalpel used. No incision scars. This is all good news if someday you might need or want a formal facelift/necklift. You can also receive another Silhouette Lift a couple years after the first if you are still not ready/not a candidate for a facelift The material is the same that we use with Sculptra injectable. Often Sculptra patients will come back every few years for a touch up. Volume can also work well with other modalities, (Juvederm, Volluma, etc.). The choice between modalities depends on how much these issues bother you, how aggressive you want to be, and your anatomy. Again, one should do a proper history and physical exam to see if you are a candidate. Best to see a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon or Otolaryngologist, (ENT). They will be able to let you know what might work best in your case, (Silhouette Lift vs. Fillers vs. Surgery), as they do all of the above. Please call with any questions. Jeffrey J. Answer: Silhouette Instalift Great question! I here it quite a bit from my patients who are enjoying the benefits of SI. The cones and the "threads" are all absorbed so there is nothing left in the skin. The effects are to stimulate your own tissues to make collagen. So after a SI your skin is actually healthier and thicker. I'd wait a year to year and a half just so as to get the full benefit of the collagen your tissues have made. I've paired my SI patients with Thermismooth prior to placement. Both will stimulate the collagen production and peak at 6 months.

Answer: How often can I repeat Silhouette Soft? Hi Adeline, Silhouette Soft and Silhouette InstaLift procedures are performed using a thread and cones made of fully resorbable material and are considered very safe as no serious side effects have been reported to date. The maximum effects are usually seen at 4 to 6 months, and results can last 18-24 months. The treatment can be repeated after 18 to 24 months, providing that you are well and do not suffer from any serious medical condition like autoimmune disorder or cancer. You also do not want to have treatment repeated if you had an allergic reaction to any of the components in the threads or cones, if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or have had permanent fillers placed in the area where threads would go. How often you can or want to repeat this treatment is the question that can be only answered by the treating doctor who knows you and your situation well. As the thread and cones components are fully resorbable, it is unlikely that you would have permanent damage to facial tissues. Most important factors in any aesthetic treatment are healthy patient and skilled doctor. Find a doctor who is experienced in performing this procedure and make sure that you let him/her know about your medical history and any previous facial treatments.
