I am going through a cycle of Telogen effluvium. It's been a whole year now, no improvement. Although there is some regrowth, it usually sheds. Would viviscal help with TE? Does viviscal cause any shedding or have anything that might cause any hormonal change?

I recommend applying minoxidil only to the
balding scalp areas. You may want to
consult with a hair restoration specialist who will measure hair
miniaturization and point out the best places to apply the minoxidil especially
if you are not sure.
Finasteride should be taken 1st thing in the morning. It does not matter if you take it along with minoxidil or separated by hours. The more important thing is to take them both everyday. And minoxidil twice per day on the scalp itself.
