Generally speaking, I would say it would be fine to use an orthodontic retainer anytime after a rhinoplasty.  I would recommend checking with your particular surgeon though, as your surgeon will have the most information about you and your surgery.

I don't see any reason why you can't use your orthodontic retainer but I would suggest you ask your surgeon who you trusted to perform your rhinoplasty prior to initiating any changes in your post operative care.

Yes, for the typical rhinoplasty, an orthodontic retainer should be fine to wear.  But, you should check with your doctor, as he knows for sure!
