One eye is deeper set. Could this be ptosis? (Photo)

I have always felt that one of my eyes appears darker and receives less light exposure in photos. The entire eye seems to be in shadows, even without mascara and fake lashes. I haven't been able to find anything like this on the internet. Can someone tell me if this could be ptosis?
