Do I need lipo or botox lift for more definition to my jawline & reduce double chin. I’m 24 and don’t have bad skin laxity. I had chin lipo in December of 2024 and honestly did not help much but probably because surgeon wasn’t great with lipo (had other procedure with him as well and lipo wasn’t great). So I didn’t know if chin lipo with a great doctor would be best or just go straight for botox for the lift and definition.

On the other hand, a Nefertiti lift with botulinum toxin works by relaxing the neck muscles and subtly lifting the jawline. This is less invasive, and it can enhance jaw definition, but it won’t remove fat like liposuction does. It’s ideal for someone with minimal laxity who wants subtle contouring and a more defined jawline without surgery.

In short:

If your main goal is removing residual fat under the chin, a carefully performed chin lipo with an experienced provider may give the best result.

If your goal is lifting and defining the jawline subtly without surgery, a botox-based Nefertiti lift can be very effective.
