Will my right breast drop? (photos)

Question

Hello everyone, My implants are at 6 months and it the right hasn’t dropped. I was told to massage more aggressively. Will my right drop? Should I continue wearing the band? I didn’t feel it make a difference. All advice is much appreciated. Thank you They’re silicone high profile implants… one is 350 the other 375.

Thanks for your question! After 6 months, the implant probably won't change much. I would have a conversation with your plastic surgeon about a possible revision. Good luck!

Thank you for the question. Based on your photos, it does appear that right breast implant is higher than the left implant. Depending on the implant location (above or below the muscle), it may take up to 12 months for the implants to settle down into their final position. 
I would continue with conservative management, wearing the band, patience and massage. 
I would also discuss your questions and concerns with your Plastic Surgeon.

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

Good morning,
After six months it is unlikely that your implant will drop any further- I would suggest a capsulotomy of the lower pole surgically to release it and allow it to drop and fluff properly.

Thanks for your photos and question. At 6 months post op, it is unlikely that the implant position is going to significantly change. Without an exam, it is impossible to tell whether it is a matter of the pocket needing revision to lower the implant, or if it is a case of capsular contracture. I recommend you speaking to your surgeon about your concerns, and possibly getting a second opinion if needed. Best regards.

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs.  After six months you will most likely require a small procedure to open the implant pocket on the right a bit larger to accommodate the implant and allow for settling.

If they have not settled by now they won't really settle any more. It's possible that you had significant asymmetry leading up to the surgery or that the pockets are not exactly the same. There are many reasons why it may not be as even as you'd like. Talk to your doctor about what can be done to improve the result if you are unhappy, or consider another consultation with someone else you can trust.

At 6 months, your implant may not drop unless something else is done. You could try ultrasound treatments and Accolate to see if this helps.

You require a right breast revision with lowering the implant.  At 6 months post-op, the implant will not drop significantly even with massages and upper pole wraps.
