I went for a consultation today and will be going for a second one with another doctor on Monday. The doctor said my actual breast is 220cc (with a BWD 11) and said the biggest I could go is 315 because of the BWD. I thought the 315 was kinda small and would like to go a little bigger and have some side boob....would this be possible? He was going off the measurements on the Motiva box. Also, if I went with the 315, what cup size would that give me? .. I'm a B now. TIA
Answer: Can I go bigger than 315cc? Hi @cherilc, Thank you for your question and showing your pictures! The look of implants is not just about size, but also how you want to achieve a natural result. However; it's important that you speak with your doctor about where the scar will be located? Which type of prosthesis will work best for you - and if they are certified by an international body like FDA or CE. It is important to find out if there is a national or global entity that is certain of the aging process of prostheses. In what plane is it going to be placed the prosthesis? (this define a great deal how those implants are going to look in some years ahead) It is going to be in front of the muscle, behind the muscle, behind the muscle fascia. Best wishes!

Answer: Implants The surgeon who has examined and measured you will be the best on to tell you what range of sizes best fits your frame and tissue. Adding around 300 cc's will get you close to a D in most bras.

Answer: In person consult Thanks for your question! Answers like this are really better answered in person when we can take some measurements, feel your tissues, etc. Hopefully the second consultation gave you some more clarity. Good luck!

Answer: Implant size Hi Cherilc, Based on your question and measurements, I believe you can definitely go bigger than 315 cc. Your base width is an important component of selecting an implant volume but that is just one component of it. Even if your BW is 11 cm, you can get an implant that is 12 or 13 cm in BWD. Sometimes if compensate for small breasts with very low BWD, you can use a high profile implant as this provides higher volume, more projection at a lower BWD. With regards to cup size, there is no manufacture standard unfortunately. However, a good estimate would be that with every increase in volume by 100-150 cc, it would correlate to a one cup size increase. Hope that makes sense. Hope you find an implant that works for you.

Answer: Maybe; Choosing the right size and profile breast implants for you After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size breast implants. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon' s experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Women tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what is right for them.
