Ultrasonic rhinoplasty seems to be quite popular in Turkey, where plastic surgeons appear to be far less conservative in their aesthetic approach. Barbie noses are the norm there. For some reason, the ultrasonic, or piezoelectric, technique seems to be almost universally preferred in Turkey. Are any American plastic surgeons using this method for closed rhinoplasties? If not, why not?

Thank you for your question. At 6 months post-surgery you should not be experiencing any pain. I would suggest that you should consult an experienced plastic surgeon for a thorough examination.
Hi maric33
Thank you for your question.
For your specific case, we can see in the front-facing photo that you have a deviated septum, so right away we know that you would benefit most from what's called a Rhinoseptoplasty. This will correct the deviation and not only be an aesthetic improvement...
Thank you for your question. Typically patients with more sebaceous (oily) skin tend to have thicker skin. This skin type can have more swelling, and that takes time to settle. Hope this answers your question.
