Is Alloderm in lips safe - what are the pros & cons?

Hello, I am seeking long-term lip augmentation. HA products do not work for me because i metabolize them too fast. I have had a dermal fat graft. It worked to some extent. What are the pros and cons of using strips of alloderm in lips? Is it dangerous in any way? Why is it not used commonly by plastic surgeons? Thank you very much for your time and help.

I used to use Alloderm for lips quite a bit, but with HA fillers getting better I haven't done it in many years. It is essentially an off-the-shelf alternative to dermal fat grafts, so should work about the same but cost more.

I have done Alloderm for lip augmentation for many years. The longevity of the tissue implant varies, I have observed multiple years with excellent fullness. The size of the lip augmentation can be varied depending on the size of the implant.
