What exactly causes the lumps after Smart Lipo triplex?

I have hardened areas on my abdomen. I literally have the whole lower portion of my belly (the part that would technically be hanging over pants) that is hard. It's not here and there, it's all the way across. I understand the "lumps and bumps" are normal but what causes it and why is mine the whole lower section of my abdomen?

It is always normal to have lumps and hardness after any type of liposuction. If the whole lower abdomen is a roll of hardness it is likely the result of a mix of scarring and water settling. I would advise continued garment use to avoid further swelling, maybe lymphatic massage and patience waiting for the final result that can take some times even a year. Good luck

Some degree of temporary firm spots, lumps are common after Smart Lipo. They represent scar tissue after melting and removing fat. Typically, they resolve over several weeks to months.Close follow up with your plastic surgeon is recommended to discuss treatment options.

The hard areas area scar tissue formation and some fluid that has firmed.  The fact that it is across the lower abdomen is due to where the fluid settled.  Possibly your compression garment was not as firm in that area.
Talk to your surgeon if they have adjunctive treatments.  I use PelleFirm RF for several sessions to help break up the scar tissue as well as tighten the skin further.  I also find hot wraps, lymphatic massage, as well as self massage all speed up the process.  Rest assured, it will resolve with time.
