I had a smas lower facelift last year and the surgeon transected my facial nerve causing paralysis. NOT a bruise. NOT a temporary injury. An actual total transection. She then missed the injury and I had to insist on a consult fom another doctor. I finally got surgery to attempt repair and they sewed the two ends back together.
