I have always been unhappy about how thick my nose is. I like a natural look, and less invasive procedure so I did my research and found Bulbous Nose Rhinoplasty is what fit me the most. My big concern is how much the procedure would cost?
Answer: Bulbous tip You do appear to have a slightly bulbous tip that could be refined to create more feminine detail, but to over-resect your tip would be a travesty, and could leave your looking fake. It’s always important to respect a patient’s ethnicity in order to create the most natural result. The fee, which you state is your biggest concern, will vary depending on a surgeon’s experience. In general, the more experienced, the more expensive, since experience helps to produce consistent results. Surgeons in big cities generally have the most experience due to the volume of cases performed in urban settings. Regardless of where you have your surgery performed, I recommend you consult in person with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your concerns.

Answer: Tipplasty A tip plasty would be a great procedure to reduce the bulbosity of your tip and allow it to match the rest of your nose. Notably, this procedure does have anatomical limitations that include but are not limited to: skin thickness, bone structure, and cartilage which can all alter the maximum refinement options. Typically, the surgical cost of a tipplasty is considerably lower than a rhinoplasty and the downtime with recovery is significantly less as well. I would recommend completing multiple in office consultations with board certified facial plastic surgeons to discuss your aesthetic goals in more detail. This way, they can assess your nose in person and determine the best treatment for you. Best of luck! Kian Karimi MD, FACS

Answer: Asian rhinoplasty The changes you describe can be achieved with Asian rhinoplasty. One thing to keep in mind though is that there is a limitation to the amount of tip refinement you can achieve (how small/narrow) because of the thickness of your skin. If you want the best idea of what is possible for your nose, do your due diligence, find an experienced surgeon, and have him/her evaluate you in person and discuss your options. #drdonyoo

Answer: Rhinoplasty - Fix bulbous nose Hmmm.... I wouldn't categorize your nose as "bulbous". There is subtle fullness of your tip that a closed rhinoplasty could help you with allowing access to trim (very conservatively) the cartilages that create that fullness. Definitely see a plastic surgeon or facial plastic surgeon who does many noses and is comfortable with a closed rhinoplasty as you do not need a big operation. I would strongly recommend doing image morphing during your consultation to better understand your goals. Best Wishes!!

Answer: Rhinoplasty Unfortunately, these photos do not reveal enough to give you more detailed advise. It looks that you are good candidate for conservative rhinoplasty that will address tip, possibly nasal base (nostrils). In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon with expertise in rhinoplasty is recommended. Good luck.
