Thank you for the question. Your deviation is not bad. Whether you are a good candidate for rhinoplasty depends on many factors such as the anatomy of the remaining parts of the nose, your breathing and your goals. An in-person examination is necessary. I wish you the best of luck. Vasileios Vasilakis, MD. Double board-certified, fellowship-trained plastic surgeon, Houston. TX.
Your nose is slightly crooked but not terrible. If you want to get surgery just to straighten the nose I wouldn't bother. Realize that if you start out crooked, making you perfectly straight is never a sure thing. In fact you're likely to still be a little crooked, no matter who performs the procedure. Would you be okay with that?
It is impossible to give you good advise based on this single photo! You may have small septum deviation visible on front view and if that is the only thing that bothers you, skillful application of filler may correct that. However, it would be in your best interest to seek in person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon with good reputation in rhinoplasty. Good luck.
Dear sebby7,it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Based solely on your one photo, your nose appears to have a normal amount of asymmetry, as no two sides will ever be exactly the same. In regard to having a deviated septum, this could only be properly assessed with a physical examination. To answer your question about if you need surgery, the answer is, “No!” Nobody needs cosmetic surgery. It is truly all up to you as to what you want. I recommend you consult in person with a board certified plastic surgeon who has decades of experience in rhinoplasty surgery.
Hello, I need to examine your in nose. But your nasal dorsum a little bit asymmetric and this problem can fix rhinoplasty.
Hello! Your question raises a very good question: do we need to be perfect? If you do not have trouble breathing, I think the decision to undergo correction is entirely yours! YOU DO NOT HAVE TO! I tell my patients : if you look in the mirror every day and each time you make yourself a reflection: heaven if only this was like that... then you do it!, if you only come up with that thought once a week... you may postpone...
Hello. We usually treat turbinate hypertrophy (enlarged turbinates) either medically or surgically. It sounds like you have tried medical treatment with steroids and has not helped you. A surgical treatment to consider is a turbinate reduction, where the size of the turbinates are reduced to...
Based on these photos, you may be a rhinoplasty candidate? However, only on the basis of in person evaluation and discussion about your goal, one could make decision how to proceed with surgery. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon, expert in rhinoplasty, is recommended....
Good day angeliiidede, thank you for your question. Although it is difficult to do a full evaluation with one photo i believe you can benefit from an open structured rhinoplasty. This technique allows for the correction of the dorsum, straightening of the entire nose and to modify the tip.
