Spider veins after lipo?

Question

I noticed small spider veins appear in my arms after lipo. Is this normal? What can be done to get rid of them? I also have a few around my nose unrelated to lipo that I’d like to treat.

These can be improved with lasers. We have great success with the Proyellow laser and this has very little downtime.  Alternatively the vbeam/pulsed dye laser or excel V can be used. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer.

This can occur due to disruption in the draining vessels so the superficial ones become more "backed up" and visible.  This is a good indication for the VBeam laser
