Thank you for your question. Renuvion (formerly J-Plasma) is a medical device that uses the combination of helium gas and radio-frequency energy to produce plasma energy. The plasma energy generated by Renuvion is used to resurface the entire face while tightening and lifting the skin and reducing or eliminating wrinkles. There is typically a minimum of 10-14 days of stay at home downtime with this procedure but the effects are quite dramatic. This is a procedure typically performed by a physician with extensive follow-up in the days and weeks following the procedure.Plasma Pen is a device which uses nitrogen from the air combined with a spark of energy to create a spark of plasma energy. This procedure is a combination of sweeping the surface of the skin and "dotting the skin" in patterns to achieve a desired effect. Plasma Pen is a focused treatment that stimulates fibroblasts to produce Type I collagen. This yields a tightening of the skin and reduction in wrinkles.
