I’m 28 & have had mild “sagging” in my face since I can remember. I've had 2 rounds of Ultherapy with virtually no results. I have have fillers in the front and side of my cheeks, nasolabial folds, chin, & jaw line. I think I’ve maxed out on the results filler will give me but surgery seems too extreme. When I looked into threads I was told they will really only support what I currently have and if there is an actual lifting effect, it will be temporary. Thank you in advance for your advice!
Answer: Thread Lift Post Filler and Ultherapy Brookeb19. Thank you for your questions and photographs. An in person consultation is necessary to determine your best course of action. From the information provides I believe that you would be an excellent candidate for a thread lift. It is important to note just like all cosmetic surgeons are not the same; not all threads are the same. I particularly like MINT threads as they are made from a single strand and not cut in order to create better holding strength. Review photos from that doctor prior to moving forward. Good Luck.

Answer: PDO threads Hi @BrookeB19! You would be a great candidate for PDO threads in the jowls and nasolabial folds. PDO threads are great for lifting facial anatomy for structural changes and to promote collagen and myofibrolast stimulation improving overall skin texture and health. Best of luck to you!

Answer: Minimally invasive Facetite You seem to fall in that category of patients that are experiencing early loose/saggy skin that aren't quite ready for a face lift but could use some tightening of the soft tissue and skin. Treatments like Thermage and Ultherapy have been around for a while, but its difficult to get deep tightening of tissue trying to pass energy through the skin. There is a new type of treatment available that may bridge that gap for you: EmbraceRF technology harnesses the radiofrequency energy, but instead applying on top of the skin like Thermage, has a probe that is introduced underneath the skin through a small incision and tightens tissue from the inside. We have this technology in the Seattle area, but you may find someone closer to you.

Answer: Thread lifting results Unfortunately thread lifting does not provide the kind of "lifting effect" that the manufactures claim. Threads are supposed to provide a biostimulatory effect and therefore tighten the skin of the face. In general, results are disappointing. Since fillers have not proven effective in your case I would suggest cheek implants to improve the contour and definition of your cheeks as well as lift and diminish the nasolabial folds. Silicone cheek implants are safe, permanent (yet easily removed) and placed through an incision in the mouth so there is no skin incision. The procedure is performed in the office with twilight anesthesia.
