I recently had ematrix treatment done on my entire face 3-4 days ago, I mainly wanted to try and treat my syringomas underneath the eyes, but also have quite a bit of shallow boxcar acne scarring as well. All the scabs have just about fallen off but I have to say, I don't notice any difference at all? Will the syringomas shrink further in size in the next 1-2 months? Or was this a complete fail?
Answer: It is recommended to do 3 treatments of ematrix to see maximum results Our office has many different treatments for scars depending on the depth of atrophy or hypertrophy. Scars require a combination approach using our HI DEF protocol which uses a combination of lasers, topical scar modulation, and RF treatments to pixelate scars, improve contour, reduce hyperpigmentation, and improve the visibility of the scars so that they are no longer visible in ambient light. Everyone has a unique pattern of scarring and we employ our HIDEF technique to improve texture, color, contour, and topography. We often use a combination of treatments that begin with a careful examination to examine the micro texturing of the acne scars. Atrophic scars and indented scars can benefit from injectable fillers such as Radiesse, Sculptra, and Restylane with or without subcision to remove tethered scars and atrophic depression. Hyper-redness in scars can be improved with V beam laser, Excel V, BBL, IPL, and Venus RF to improve the redness and reduce the visibility of deep scars. Fractional Thulium laser and clear & brilliant can also reduce the inflammation and redness of the scar when combined with topical therapy. Fractional lasers such as Fraxel, erbium, and CO2 laser can be combined with radio frequency and also fractional RF to improve textual issues and microtopography. Subcision and TCA cross are also used for deep ice pick scars and narrow valley scars in order to improve the micro texture. Above all, our combination approach with our clinical nurses and board-certified plastic surgeons can improve the quality of your skin by using at home Melarase creams combined with PRP treatments in our office to improve your skin quality and tone. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an experienced team of experts in order to reduce your scarring. Finally, hyperpigmentation of scars can be improved with at-home Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads to help reduce active PIH and melanin deposition. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Seeing results can take 3 to 6 months. Because eMatrix is an RF treatment that's based on promoting your skin's natural healing response and collagen production, seeing your final results can take time. However, you may start seeing some improvements after your very first session. Talk with your provider about what you can expect from your treatment. Answer: Ematrix results--add lasers, microneedling/prp, Cosmelan, subcision, fillers, dessication This is difficult to answer without pictures, but it can take several weeks for laser results to settle. Keep in mind, a combination approach will give the most improvement. Acne scars need a combination of lasers, microneedling/prp, Cosmelan, subcision and fillers. Co2 or dessication with radiowave works well for syringomas. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an acne scarring expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: EMatrix results eMatrix can take a little while to show results, as it is a collagen stimulator, and it takes a couple of months to grow your own collagen. We usually see a nice glow to the skin about a week after treatment, which I believe comes from the shedding of the treated skin (like a peel would do). Personally I don't recommend eMatrix for syringomas. I am not saying it won't help them, as I have not researched that treatment option, but I would not expect it to do anything to them. eMatric CAN help with the acne scarring, but it can take up to 4 treatments to get your maximum results. We do the treatments 4-6 weeks apart. Good luck!

Answer: Ematrix Ematrix uses sublative rejuvenation to stimulate collagen production. Radiofrequency energy creates microinjuries in the skin while the surrounding skin remains intact. As the body heals these microinjuries collagen is stimulated. This process can take a few months to occur. I wouldn't be disappointed if I didn't see a result within a few weeks, but if you do you can be pleasantly surprised. Typically we recommend 3 to 4 treatments scheduled once a month, and I tell my patients not to expect results for 1-2 months.
