FUT or Strip scars evolve over several months. It may look great in the beginning but it may widen and stretch over time. In other words you would have to wait at least 6 moths to see the final result of what your scar looks like.
Your scar looks normal for he amount of time since your surgery. Its difficult to say how it will ultimately look because things like your body's natural healing, width of the tissue taking out, and whether your doctor did a trichophytic closure or not. Most likely you'll be able to wear your hair at a 3-4 on the clippers. If it isn't hidden enough once it heals, consider micropigmentation to take away the color contrast between the scar tissue and your dark hair.
Thank you for the photo but it is tough to say what the scar will look like in 6 months or even 6 years. Much depends on genetics, closure, and amount of tissue excised.
At 10 days you cannot predict what the final result of your scar will be as the healing and contraction of the wound takes place over many months. You can evaluate the outcome of your scar between 6 and 12 months, and if it is visible with the length that you want to wear your hair, than you should consider SMP.
Your wound looks healed and normal but the final wound repair and scarring results will take 8-12 months after donor harvesting with donor strip and/or FUE techniques.
If proper techniques were used the scar will be very small and not detectable if you wear your hair at 1/2 to 5/8 inch long. At this point it is difficult to comment on what your final result will be. Did your hair transplant surgeon show you results of FUT scars?
