What are my options for breast augmentation? Looking for upper pole fullness and cleavage (Photo)

Hi, thank you for sharing your question. You are a great candidate for breast augmentation. This will provide you with the most stable, consistent and symmetric result. Another option would be fat grafting but this is slightly unpredictable.

I believe that you are a great candidate for breast augmentation with silicone gel implants. You should see a board-eligible or board-certified plastic surgeon with extensive training in aesthetic plastic surgery of the breast.

In order to achieve upper pole fullness, a breast implant would be required. Fat transfer to the breast will help this problem, but will not achieve the results a breast implant. There are no non invasive techniques to accomplish your goals.

You are a good candidate for breast implants and I think they are the most tried-and-true method of helping you achieve your goals Fat grafting is an option but you would absolutely require multiple rounds to get anywhere close to your goals.
Another great option is combining these procedures by placing an implant and adding fat. This can help optimize the result to achieve a soft, natural appearance with improved upper pole fullness.

Breast implants are best options for you. With careful planning, you will get cleavage and elegant upper pole fullness. Fat grafting not enough for getting results you desired. Please stay away from body fillers.

Based on your pictures, your breasts display natural asymmetry with your right breast being larger and its nipple positioning lower when compared to your left. You may benefit from a combination of procedures. The first to consider is a breast lift to your right breast in order to address the discrepancy between your areola sizes and nipple positioning, followed by placement of two mildly different sized implants in aim of increasing symmetry. A second option would be to still have a breast lift performed to the right nipple and in place of having a breast augmentation with implants, having fat grafting to both of your breasts.

Thanks for your question! I do think that an implant is a good option for you. There are docs out there that do fat grafting for overall volume and perhaps that is a route you may like going. It’s not my preference, but it is an option. I think that a moderate implant could get you a really lovely result. Best of luck!

I recommend an in person consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss your goals and be measured. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants, and they choose what looks right for them. The technique I recommend is a mini lift. Using a circumareola incision, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. At the same time, fat transfers or small implants can be placed if additional volume is desired.

breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small.You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.
