I know fillers can be used to provide a non surgical brow lift. Most of what I've seen for eyebrow fillers have been for the lateral portion of the eyebrows. However, the part of my eyebrow that I need lifted is the medial section of my right eyebrow as it sits lower than my left brow and I want to make them more even. I know there's more vascularity in the medial brow due to the supraorbital and supratrochlear arteries so I was wondering if filler can be placed in the medial eyebrow?
Answer: Filler on medial brow Dear HealthInfo101, Medial brow is one of the most dangerous places to inject filler due to the neurovascular bundles present in that region. However, there are injectors who perform this procedure either by cannula technique or under ultrasound guidance. There are other safer ways to lift the brow such as using neuromodulator botulinum toxin or PDO lifting threads. However, results are often short-lived. Surgical brow lift can be considered if non-surgical techniques fail. Sincerely yours,Drkenbrito

Answer: No! Hello! My name is Jessica, I am a physician assistant, and one of the providers at Aesthetic Skin in Winnetka and Chicago. This is a great question. No, filler is generally not recommended for placement in the medial portion of the eyebrow. The medial brow area is particularly delicate and close to the orbital rim, making it a challenging area for filler injections. Injecting filler in this area carries a higher risk of complications, such as uneven results or migration of the filler. For enhancing the brow shape or addressing volume loss, other areas like the lateral brow or the surrounding regions may be more suitable for filler treatment. I hope this helps and best of luck!

Answer: Can filler be placed in the medial portion of the eyebrow? Hello there HI, As you noted, the medial brow is a danger area due to blood vessels that communicate with the eyes. Any injection done in this area must be performed by an expert injecting physician. I personally use only cannulas to inject this unforgiving region. Make sure to choose your injecting physician very carefully if you decide to have this treatment. Good luck and be well. Michael Persky, MD Encino, CA

Answer: Botox Can Help To Elevate The Medial Brows Botox placed in the appropriate locations of the glabella region can help to elevate the medial eyebrows and poses little to no risk at all to the vasculature in that area. The muscles there are responsible for the down-pulling of the inner brows. Hence, treating them with Botox allows for the muscles above to have a competitive advantage and hence the ability to pull the media brow upwards. You would be wise to consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist injector expert.
