Can I do Ultherapy in between two microneedling with RF treatments?

Question

I'm looking to begin a skin-tightening regimen this year of ultherapy and microneedling. I've found a doctor to do the ultherapy but they won't resume ultherapy appointments until August. Meanwhile, my regular facial clinic is available for microneedling appointments. If I begin this month with the microneedling with RF treatments, will my results be as good as they would be if I started with ultherapy instead?

I would see no problem having an Ultherapy treatment in between RF micro needling treatments.  I don't think your result will necessarily be affected by doing one versus the other first.

Thank you for your question!  Ultherapy combined with skin texture improving procedures such as microneedling, RF and laser can give you an improved result.  These therapies work synergisticly and can be done at the same time or in intervals.  Ultherapy helps tighten the skin at deeper layers, while microneedling, RF and laser help improve the skin texture and quality.  We do recommend using Alastin Regenerating Skin Nectar two weeks before and after any of these treatments for an even better result!

we typically do ultherapy at the same time as lasers, peels and microneeding. there is no reason why you cant and we do nerve blocks so its way more tolerable.  make sure you ar doing att home peels like cosmelan and enlighten between the lasers and doing the right aftercare (see emeragecosmetics.com where we do free skincare consultations and package for skincare with lasers).  Best, Dr. Emer.

Great question. So in my practice I try to determine the main issue and sometimes its both laxity and superficial wrinkles. If you have both laxity and superficial wrinkles yes a combination of microneedling and ultherapy will be great. Other option is profound RF which will cover both.Hope this helps.

Both of these procedures can stimulate new collagen growth and help to tighten the skin.  You probably would be best to do either one or the other, but can certainly do them both.  If you have laxity in the jowls and under the chin, Ultherapy is a good option.  If you have mostly fine lines and wrinkles in the lower face and neck the the RF would be better.

Thank you for your question! You can do Ultherapy in between two microneedling treatments. The results should be the same if you are doing both procedures regardless of the order they are done in. I recommend reminding your board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon that you are doing both these treatments.
