I am 39 years old, thin (5'3", 105 lbs), and seem to have lost a lot of fat in my face while breastfeeding that never returned. My neck is creepy with a turkey neck and very loose skin. Am thinking about trying Botox, Ultherapy, filler, CoolSculpting, BBL with Necktite or a combo platter. What would be best for me?
Answer: Two great options to address this issue would be doing Morpheus8 or Ultherapy Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Combination approach could be best option for you Since there is a combined problem of loose skin and excess fat under the chin, I believe you would see the best improvement with a combination of chin liposuction and ThermiTight - a nonsurgical skin tightening treatment. Chin liposuction uses micro-cannulas to remove the submental fat under the chin. The procedure can be performed using local anesthesia and recovery is typically just a few days. Incisions to insert the cannulas are so small there is essentially no visible scarring. ThermiTight, which can be performed at the same time as liposuction, uses tiny probes to deliver radiofrequency energy deep into the tissue, leading to constriction of connective tissue fibers and additional collagen production. When the two treatments are performed together, the results are both dramatic and long-lasting. Choose an experienced, board-certified dermatologist with expertise in this type of contouring to ensure an optimal outcome.

Answer: Ultherapy I would recommend you try Ultherapy to tighten the skin under the chin. Ultherapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses ultrasound to stimulate collagen production and tighten and lift the skin. Ultherapy has no downtime and great results have been shown under the chin and on the neck with just one treatment. I would recommend consulting with a dermatologist who performs Ultherapy to discuss this option.
