The redness have been going on for almost 5 years without any changes. I have history of adult seborrheic dermatitis and child atopic dermatitis. And, I have been applying good facial moisturizer and sunscreen everyday but there is no improvement. I am wondering what might be the causes and how can i treat it. They are not itchy or scaly but cosmetically red all the time.
Answer: Treatments for redness on and around the nose Hello and thank you for your question. Given your history, there seems to be some chronic inflammation that is creating this redness on and around your nose. There are several treatments that are specific to targeting and breaking down the micro blood vessels that are causing this diffuse redness. We have had great success with our IPL (also known as photofacial), yag and Cutera Exel V treatments. All are safe and effective and require about 2-5 treatments (spaced 3 weeks apart), with little to no downtime. It is best to have a formal In-person consultation to get the best direction and care for your specific needs by an experienced practitioner. Best of luck!

Answer: Vbeam laser to defuse redness around the nose paired with LaseMD to shrink the pores Vbeam laser is an excellent modality for patients who have rosacea, blushing of the skin, facial and body telangiectasia, spider veins, redness, post surgical redness, and skin flushing. It is a safe procedure that can be used at varying depths to help treat micro blood vessels in the skin. We also use it in our office for facial skin inflammation, keloids, and hypertrophic scarring. It is an important part of scar therapy. Vbeam can be combined with chemical peels and other lasers, but experience with the treatment is essential. The Vbeam laser does not affect deeper tissue. Schedule a consultation with an expert in Vbeam and you will find it to be an excellent modality for many skin types. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Redness and V-Beam This redness appears to be from rosacea in your photos. I would suggest Mirvaso as a topical treatment to reduce the appearance of the redness. The V-Beam laser is an excellent treatment to diminish the redness from your face. It will take a few treatments with zero down time spaced one month apart to decrease the redness.
