Getting filler "melted" 6 days after Juvederm Ultra Plus in lips with Hyaluronidase. How much swelling is to be expected?

I had some filler under my eyes removed with Hyaluronidase previously and had no swelling and apparently it was quick results by smoothing out the filler within 2 hours. I swelled quite a lot after my juvederm filler in my lips, I'm on day 3 and still swollen (hopefully) because it's all around my upper lip/ugly lip shape

The swelling may be due to the bruising. A bruise is a collection of blood under the skin from the needle, so injecting more hyaluronidase may not help. In fact injecting too much can cause loss of your natural hyaluronic acid and leave you with wrinkly skin. I would wait.

I like to use an insulin syringe to inject very small aliquots into the area to be treated. Doing this over multiple visits is the safest way to do it. If you inject too much of dilute it and let it diffuse out of the treatment area, you can get wrinkly skin from dissolving your natural...

I recommend following up with your Doctor about your concerns about your treatment. Hyaluronidase won't damage tissues or cause wrinkles and/or eye bags. Keep in mind, it may take a series of treatments. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

There is no such thing.  Hyaluronidase spreads 2-3 cm from injection anyway so if you have had vollure and you want it reversed you do the hyaluronidase all over the areas you feel are swollen and then you treat the face with exilis ultra or venus legacy.  Most people under dose the h...
