43 yr old male wanting Halo treatment. 2 years ago Dr put me on accutane 10mg a day, then to 20-30/wk, then only if a flare up. I went off last Nov. Was told I need to be off accutane 6 mo before Halo, even tho dosage was low. Last week, due to folliculitis & acne flare up, I started 10mg/day which has been effective. I’ll again taper off. My doctor tells me it should be fine to do Halo in May. Given the low dose of the accutane, & how I have been mostly free of it for months, is this true?
