I'm in my late 20s. The outside corner of my eyes sag, I've always had excess skin on my upper lids and I want the outside corners to be tighter and more lifted. Will fillers on the temple area help create a more lifted look and give a bit of tightness? Thanks! BTW I did the PDO thread lift (ponytail lift) and it did achieve what I wanted but the results when away pretty fast.
Answer: Temples and browlifting Filling the hollowness in the temples will not provide any degree of lifting of the eyebrows. A lateral browlift through a small incision is in the hairline will raise only the lateral portion of the eyebrow if that is what you desire. My experience with threads has been disappointing and the effects are both minimal and of short duration. Filling the temple hollows is a good idea from a facial beauty standpoint. The "triangle of beauty" begins with a wide upper face and tapers to a point on the chin.

Answer: Eyebrows - botox, threads, fillers to temple and brow, morpheus, thermage; emeragecosmetics latisse + emerageskin dermaroller fillers to temple and brow combined with threads help. full lifting needs a surgical brow lift. There are many options for the brow, including botox, fillers, PDO threads, mopheus, ultherapy. surgery also as an option. I suggest you see an expert. also start using latisse with dermarolling on your brows to increase the thickeness of the hairs (see link to emeragecosmetics latisse and emerageskin 0.25mm dermaroller). Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Temple lift Thanks for submitting your photos. It is a little hard to tell from your photos whether you are hollow in your temples or not. If you have some hollowness in the temple, then by adding filler it can raise and lift the outer 1/3 of the eyebrow and with it, the skin of the upper eyelid can lifted as well. I like to use Sculptra or Radiesse in the temple area. Sculptra has a long duration but it takes time for it to build collagen. Radiesse works immediately if you want instant results but it doesn't last as long as Sculptra. Some doctors use Voluma, but I use less Voluma in this area than other practictioners because I think there is a long term potential problem when patients start mixing with other HA fillers. I hope that helps. Good luck!

Answer: Subtle lateral brow lift A filler in the temple will likely not achieve what it seems you are looking for. I understand your thought on this, like Volume replaces volume in cheek and gives a subtle lift as well, would volume in temple help lift the brow. You are young and have likely not lost a lot of volume in your temple yet, so volume does not need to be "replaced" there. You may consider botox in the lateral obicularis just under the lateral brow. This can often times give a subtle lift in that area. There is no brow elevator laterally, so eliminating the downward pull of the muscle just under the brow can create a small lift and may give the result you desire!
