That said, Versa is a hyaluronic acid based filler which is a substance that is already present in the body, so allergic reactions to hyaluronic acid are typically quite rare. You should however not have this treatment if you are allergic to any of the proteins that make up hyaluronic acid or if you are allergic to lidocaine. That said there are typically no contraindications when it comes to dermal fillers and peanut or tree nut allergies.

Nobody knows if fillers can irritate this. the filler itself cannot, but injections/stabbing of the skin has the potential to initiate any inflammatory condition. I would use a cannula and take medtrol and use LED right like (see emeragecosmetics link). Best, Dr. Emer.
