I've now had 3 different doctors tell me 3 different things so I want to know what the majority say. 1 did under the eye in the cheek off to the side of each eye. Another said up the center of the forehead starting between the brow and above the nose going up about 3/4 way. 4 injections on each side. 1 placed below those 8 centered between basically at the top of the nose. And then at an injection at the corner of each eye. And another said the glabellar muscles just above the actual eye brow?
Answer: Botox brow lift - where do you inject? The area to inject is often confusing to patients and even "experienced" Botox injectors because it is counter-intuitive. To achieve eyebrow elevation Botox is injected to the relax ("paralyze") the upper-lateral and lateral portions of the orbicularis oculi muscle (This is the muscle used to wink). By relaxing this muscle the downward pull is removed allowing the muscle above the eyebrow (your frontalis muscle) to elevate the brow by its natural tone. (Think tug-of-war with the muscle not treated with Botox still capable of pulling your eye brow up). Most people will require 10-15 units per side but some patient may need less.I hope this helps.

Answer: Brow lift Thank you for your question! When it comes to lifting the brow I personally like to inject into the brow margin. Ultimately, a consultation is needed with a skilled injector for best results. All the best!

Answer: Browlift with Botox In order to create some lift to the brow, Botox needs to be injected into the orbicularis muscle which surrounds the eye... in addition, no Botox should be injected above the lateral brow in order to allow the frontalis muscle to "lift" the brow. Both need to occur in order to get any lift. I usually inject 2-3 units of Botox at the lateral orbital rim.

Answer: Brow lift using Botox Hello,Thank your for your inquiry. My approach to a brow lift is to inject the tail ends of the eyebrows. The orbicularis oculi muscle acts like a purse-string which pulls down from the end of the brow and pulls up from under the eye. Relaxing this part of the muscle with use of Botox (or other neuromodulators) releases the pull down effect of the muscle and essentially picks up the brow. Another way to add to the effect is to inject into the more central part of the frontalis muscle (forehead). Relaxing the center of the muscle and leaving the outer sides of that muscle active helps to pull up the brow (of course being careful not to create a peaked brow, or "joker" look). Hope this helps.Best of luck,Dr. Alexander Rivkin

Answer: Botox brow lift - where do you inject? Good question. The muscles in the central forehead (corugators) and around the crow's feet (orbicularis oculi) work to lower the eyebrows. Relaxing these muscles with Botox helps the eyebrows elevate. The crows feet relaxation helps the lateral eyebrow elevate, giving a more beautiful appearance to the eyebrow.

Answer: Eyebrow Lift with lasers, fillers, ultrasound, radiofrequency, botox/xeomin/dysport Every doctor will have their preferred technique and it can vary depending on each patient and their desired results. Botox will only lift the brow so much on it's own. I recommend a combination approach of lasers, botox, fillers, ultherapy and rf treatments. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
