How can I improve the look of a protruding upper lip? (Photos)

I’ve always been insecure about my lips. The cutaneous lip protrudes, and its shadow makes me look like Homer Simpson. I’m not sure if that’s common but I’d like to know how to make it less protruding, closer to the cheeks. The upper lip has an M shape that protrude at its center and hangs down sitting on the middle of the bottom lip. It’s just an odd shape that makes me look silly like the expression they make in Rick and Morty. I’d like to know what options do I have so I can make these features look more attractive and less abnormal.
