To make an accurate assessment regarding the outcome of a plastic surgery procedure we generally need to see a complete set of proper before and after pictures.
If you don’t have before, and after pictures, then ask your surgeon to forward the pictures they took.
We typically don’t make assessments With facial expressions.
Contracting muscles of facial expression can create changes, and the baseline should typically be based on a face that is neutral without facial expression.
All people have significant facial asymmetry.
The primary asymmetry in the face is primarily determined by skeletal structure.
Attempting to treat a symmetry by manipulating soft tissues, typically simply just creates a new asymmetry.
I suggest you follow up with your provider and discuss your concerns with him or her.
If you’re motivated enough to have revision surgery, then either follow up with your provider or schedule proper in person, second opinion, consultations with other providers in your community.
For second opinion consultations come prepared. Bring with you a complete set of proper before and after pictures and a copy of your previous operative report.
These should be available from your current providers office if you request them.
