Hi Apollo Star, Congratulations on your tummy tuck and breast augmentation with mastopexy. I'm glad you' post operative course was uneventful. I have my massive weight loss patients wait at least one month between surgical procedures. Waiting one month allows time for your bone marrow to make new red blood cells and thereby, raise their hemoglobin to normal levels. Before any new surgery is scheduled, I always check your blood levels. If your blood levels are normal, we can proceed safely with surgery. Please remember, these are elective procedures and do not need to be rushed. Don't do them sooner than a month apart. The longer you can take between surgeries, the better. However, I realize you want to get all your surgical procedures done as soon as possible and get on with your life :)) When you mentioned you wanted to have a "lower body lift", I think you meant a "thigh lift". A lower body lift typically entails removing excess skin and fat from the abdomen, hips, and upper buttocks. This is the most common definition of a lower body lift. The problem is many patients and plastic surgeons float many terms around describing the same surgery. However, again, I think you mean a lower body lift to mean in a thigh lit. If this is the case, I would have your thigh lift file performed next. Then, I would wait another month or so before undergoing an arm lift brachioplasty. I would NOT suggest having the thigh lift and the arm lift performed at the same time. Sure, the arm lift and the thigh can be done together and I've done them. However, the recovery is too difficult. If you have a thigh lift and an arm lift performed together, it is difficult to get out of bed because you will need your arms. Then, you will need your legs to walk to the bathroom. Then, you will need your arms to remove the garment to go to the bathroom. Then, you will need your arms to clean yourself and put the thigh garment on. Then, you will need your legs to walk back to the bed. Then, you will need your arms to finally collapse in bed. So sure, the arm lift and thigh lift can be performed together, but I do not perform them together anymore because the recovery is too difficult for my patients. It is better to stage them. Thank you for your questions regarding the staging and timing of multiple procedures after massive weight loss. Congratulations again, on your massive weight loss. Great job!
