Does i-Lipo shrink your fat cells or eliminate them all together?

I'm looking for a treatment like vela shape which I think works great. I don't want to completely elimintae the fat cell, but want to shrink it.

If you are disproportionate and want contour, you should go to someone who doesnt remove all the fat but shapes your body.  If you want just maintenance, velashape or venus legacy work best.  I suggest a formal consultation with a body contouring expert.  Best, Dr. Emer.

iLipo works great for shrinking fat cells and promoting lymphatic drainage.  The low grade radio frequency heat will help to "melt" the fat cell, while the suction and rolling hand piece works to drain the broken down fat out of the body through the lymphatic system.  The secondary effect will be the reduction and smoother appearance of cellulite.  This will not stop fat cells from expanding if you are not watching your diet and exercising.  It does not destroy fat cells. Hope this helps and good luck on your journey.Dr. Ahmed

I-lipo is a procedure that claims to reduce your fat. In some it may; inothers, it may not. These procedures do not eliminate fat as they do not penetrate deep enough to do so.If you are trying to eliminate fat, then your options are liposuction, laser liposuction, CoolSculpting, or UltraShape – the newest addition to the fat reducing market. VelaShape III is great for what we call circumferential reduction – which shrinks the fat in the area treated.

I've been using iLipoXcell and a previous machine with similar technology for several years.  It shrinks the volume of fat stored in your fat cells without destroying the cells.  I have  yet to see the fat return to the treated areas in any of my patients although no one knows how long the benefits will last.  Several have gained weight some time after their treatment and have reported that it did NOT return to the treated areas.
