I chaired a panel called, "Liposuction: Man or Machine." All agreed it is the surgeon. Don't ask for any specific method. Just find the best doctor in your area.
I would stick with tumescent liposuction for the inner thigh. I still think it comes down to the surgeon for the result. Find a plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials who performs hundreds of liposuction procedures each year. Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results. Kenneth Hughes, MD Los Angeles, CA
I wouldn't worry so much about the machine. I would go to someone who gets good results. Good luck.
I-Lipo is a non-invasive laser light treatment similar to Zerona laser light treatment. Both utilize external laser light to stimulate the subcutaneous fat cells causing the cells to shrink in size. However, these non-invasive treatments do not permanently remove the fat cells; as a surgical liposuction, including ultrasound or Vaser liposuction, does. For moderate circumferential fat reduction, treatments like I-lipo or Zerona may be reasonable to consider. However, for spot areas, such as the inner thigh, a surgical liposuction, with or without ultrasound, will probably give you more noticeable results. Best wishes.
Liposuction results are tied directly to the skill of the hands on the end of the equipment. Pick the right surgeon and let him worry about what equipment to use.
Do not choose who will do your liposuction by the method. Any method can occomish your goals. It is the surgeon and their experience that is important. Choose a board certified plastic surgeon, as they are the only group with specific training in liposuction. Then look at hoe long they have been doing the procedure and how many they have done. There are now many non-surgeons doing liposuction with minimal training.
Smart-Lipo is a surgical procedure that involves laser and liposuction. This is best done by a board-certified plastic surgeon who is trained and experienced in doing the procedure. Most states allow only physicians (MD orDO) to legally do this procedure. Since it is surgery, I do recommend...
I am taking your question to be these modalities for non-invasive uses. i-Lipo non-invasive body shaping and cellulite reduction technology offering safe and pain free body contouring in as little as 20 minutes, without surgery and without downtime. The FDA has allowed a claim for...
The side effects of liposuction would include fluid collection and contour irregularity among the most common issues. Kenneth Hughes, MD Los Angeles, CA
Hypothyroidism is either "corrected" (is fully corrected by taking sufficient amounts of thyroid hormone) or "uncorrected" / or partially corrected( in which you get no or insufficient amounts of thyroid hormone and suffer the medical consequences: fatigue, depression,...
This is a newly touted device that is "supposed" to dissolve fat by external treatments with low intensity laser light. Here is a saying to remember. "if it seems too good to be true, then it probably is". There is not much peer reviewed research to determine how...
Liposuction is such a refined procedure that it is hard to compare results of liposuction with less invasive modalities. i-Lipo may work, but does not compare well to mini liposuction or traditional liposuction in terms of results at this time. Raffy Karamanoukian Los Angeles
