Is there a doctor in San Diego that is very talented and skilled at injecting fillers in the tear troughs that I can trust?

I went to Derma care in Rancho Bernardo to get beletero in my tear troughs. I have lines where the PA injected me with the needle. It looks like two lump lines, so I asked her what they were and will they go away, and she told me they were ligaments. Plus, she she said that they were always there and I know my face intimately and they were not. My goal is to find a dermatologist that is really good at what they do.

I almost always use microcannulas in the tear trough area to minimize the risks of bleeding, bruising, and swelling. Your lump lines sound like improperly placed filler. This is a difficult area to inject and requires knowledge of anatomy for optimal results. The tear troughs are not an area you want injected by a nurse or PA. I recommend tear trough injections with cannulas to limit complications. Keep in mind, a combination approach will give the most improvement for under the eyes. Fillers, lasers, and microneedling/PRP can improve under the eyes. My patients try to get non surgical treatments to avoid surgery. We use PRP and stem cells there often. Look at doctors who do live filmings, teachings, and have good before and after photos on social media sites! I suggest consulting with an expert to develop a treatment plan best suited for your short and long term goals.
