Is it possible to elongate the columella with fillers? (Photos)

Your columella seems retracted but mostly due to a lack of tip rotation. Your simulation shows a tip elevation which can be accomplished safely and permanently with a tip rhinoplasty. Fillers can help project the columella but in your case they can make your upper lip longer and even widen the columella. The amount of filler needed is variable with desired results and anatomy. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. These facial fillers (voluma, restylane, juvederm) can be used to improve the symmetry of the nose. Surgery would be needed to improve nostrils or overall shape. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Thanks for sharing your question and photo. A small amount of filler injected into your columella by an experienced injector would increase columellar show as well as subtly raise the tip of the nose. My preferred filler for this is Restylane. I recommend you see a experienced injector as this is an advanced treatment. Good luck.

restore lost volume in and enhance the appearance of the face. Fillers are sometimes placed in the nose and areas around the lips. A formal consultation is necessary to discuss your desired results.
