I got my bbl 2 weeks ago. Initially the results were ideal. the days after surgery it was perfect. 2 days ago I noticed my butt wasn't as large but still nice. 1 day ago it was noticeably smaller, very disappointing. Today it's basically a flat ass in my opinion and close to my pre op. I've been extremely careful not to sit or lay on my backside. I read reviews of doctors on here saying 400-700 is the amount of cc's to notice a difference so why did my doctor only put 300?

Answer: BBL shrinking. Asked for a big butt and the dr only put 300cc's on each side, is he really giving me what I asked for? With fat transfer to the buttocks (or hips or breasts) it is a known fact and opening discussed between plastic surgeons and their patient that ~50% of the fat volume is lost in the 3-6 months following surgery. This means that if 300cc is placed, you will be left with roughly 150cc when you are fully healed 6 months after surgery. That is why we attempt to put as much fat in the buttocks as we can in anticipation of this fat loss. If is best to ask your PS why he/she only put 300cc. It may be because that was all the fat that they were able to collect. If you were thin before the surgery, then that may be the case. Other times patients want fat injection but don't want to pay the PS to liposuction several areas. For instance, patients will say I would like liposuction to my abdomen and the fat put in my buttocks. I do a lot of this surgery and I feel it is important to liposuction as many areas as possible to collect the most fat that can be collected. My goal is always to place all the fat that is collected. Definitely contact your doctor to see what they say. It is always an option to repeat the procedure with more aggressive liposuction.

Answer: Buttocks fat grafting you only got 300ccs probably because that is all the fat you had! We always offer our BBL patients a full body lipo in order to maximimize your results. if you need more volume, we offer buttocks implants to supplement your BBL.
