Hello. About 5 weeks ago I had Juvidetm Volite injection of 3ml into my face and neck. My face looks normal but my neck still has very visible bumps. Should I be worried at this point or wait more? Anything I can do to help to disolve those bumps faster? Thank you for any advice!!!

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs.  Unfortunately after 5 weeks there is little rapid improvement that will take place without dissolving the filler material with hyaluronidase.  I would speak with your injector about your concerns to discuss options at treatment.

You can have the filler dissolved with Hyaluronidase. It may take a few sessions to fully dissolve. Injecting the neck requires advanced technique and choice of appropriate filler. Make sure you choose an experienced physician injector next time. Best wishes.

Volite has not been approved by he FDA in the U.S yet. It is a Hyaluronic acid filler so it can be dissolved with Hylenex, if its been 5 weeks and the bumps are still there you will probably need some dissolvent. HA  is not our first choice to treat fine lines on neck and chest due to these common complications, a CO2 Resurfacing laser will be much safer in this area, and provide you with beautiful results.   Best, Dr Obaid.

Thanks for the question. It looks like perhaps you had injections to try to improve horizontal neck lines? I don't personally find fillers to be useful for that indication, particularly because the lines may end up looking bulgy in certain poses and flatter in others. Hyaluronidase (Wydase) is an enzyme that can be injected to try to break up the hyaluronic acid active ingredient to "dissolve" the lumps and is likely the only reasonable therapy that may help. In time, though, these bumps should go away since HA is a dissolvable product.

it is clear to me that whomever treated your neck had very limited experience in performing mesotherapy. You can clear all of this up rather quickly with the use of hyaluronidase. The faster you do it the quicker this will resolve. Good luck from New York City
