Why are my ears completely different? (photo)

Had this question for a long while now , My left ear is quite big and elf like sticking out as for my right ear is quite the opposite, small and bent backwards and both jus don't match up at all. It's been kind of a problem as it makes me feel uncomfortable at school and makes it hard for me to be in public before I used to just deal w it feeling awkward and stuff but now it's just completely different and I just wanna know why and how it's possible.
