3 months after otoplasty, is this a stitch? (Photo)

I have done otoplasty roughly 3 months ago, but still there's some weird things behind my ears. I wonder if this is a stitch, and if it is, how long will it take to dissolve?

Hi there and thanks for your question! It appears that you have a spitting suture behind your ear after your otoplasty.  Although the sutures should dissolve over a few weeks to months, the body can sometimes "spit" the superficial sutures to the surface of the skin.  These can be trimmed by your plastic surgeon or left alone to dissolve.  I recommend seeing your doctor for a follow up.  Best of luck!

This is most likely a deep stitch used during your otoplasty procedure. I recommend seeing your surgeon to have the stitch removed.
