Best growth serum post-microneedling?

We are using microneedling with Platelet-Rich Fibrin Matrix (PRFM) to increase healing with platelets and growth factors derived from your own blood. PRFM includes an addition step over PRP to create the fibrin matrix before the plasma is used. The separated platelets/plasma are combined with calcium chloride, which transforms the plasma into a gel-like substance. This gives the PRFM greater structure, so it lasts longer within the body to assist healing. Whereas the functional benefits of PRP last about a day, PRFM continues working for about a week. Another benefit is that PRFM is made from the patient’s own blood, so there is virtually no risk of negative reaction.

We use Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) in tandem with microneedling in our practice and are amazed at the results from using growth factors produced by one's own body. Depending on the microneedle settings,  and the application of the PRP, these growth factors can be be driven deep into the epidermis to stimulate collagen production and remodeling during the acute inflammatory process created by the microneedle. A patient can expect an improvement in the tone and texture of his/her skin that will continue to improve over 4-6 weeks. Of course, everyone is different, but it is recommended that one receive 3-4 treatments for maximum results. 

Microneedling creates tiny openings on the skin's surface allowing PRP to penetrate deep into the skin and help in stimulating new collagen fibers. With that said these tiny openings will close immediately after the treatment so whatever serum you are using at home does not make any difference since it will not penetrate under the skin. It is my recommendation that after microneedling you keep your skin well hydrated and protected with a good quality SPF. 

We like to use HA serum from PCA in our practice.  By introducing the buidling block of collagen into the area where microneedling will stimulate rejuvenation we have had good results.  Good luck.
