2 years post op rhinoplasty swelling still. Would I benefit from an injection? (Photo)

It takes approximately 3 to 6 months for swelling to subside and up to 12 months for your nose to completely settle and see the final result. In some cases like yours, swelling stays due to skin thickness. The best thing to do is to revisit your surgeon and ask for a steroid injection. This will be helpful. Good luck.

Cortizone injection after rhinoplasty: Cortizone is frequently used in the post operative period for people with thick skin in the tip area. It is generally not used in the bridge because the skin is thinner there and the Cortizone May further thin the skin allowing the bones to show through. Discuss with your surgeon whether he believes Cortizone would be appropriate for your tip area.
