Hello! I just got lip filler (1 syringe) about a week ago and I am loving the results. I was wondering however if a lip lift would be a better permanent procedure for me. My ultimate goal is to balance out my profile and I have a very small/thin upper lip. I plan on getting a rhinoplasty in December (correct over projection and dorsal hump) and wanted to know if I was a good candidate for a lip lift as well. I got a chin implant last December as well.

It is normal and youthful to see 3-4 mm of tooth show at rest. I would recommend a traditional lip lip to allow for 11-13 mm of lip length. In the profile photo, it appears that you have a deep mentolabial fold. That usually means that your lower facial height is short. You might also benefit...
You would be a candidate for a lip lift. A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners.

The changes from a lip lift surgery are permanent. Generally, the smile is unchanged after surgery. Most patients show the same amount of teeth smiling after surgery as before surgery.
