I don’t like the height / size of my chin can lipo of it or fat grafting to take it out help reduce the size of the fat pad?
Answer: Chin Contouring with VASER, ThermiRF, Coolsculpting, Kybella, Thermage, Ultherapy, Exilis, J plasma/Renuvion/Inmode BodyTite I find that VASER liposuction in combination with Renuvion or ThermiRF are best for contouring the chin in those who are candidates, but Kybella can be used as an alternative and gets better results when combined with Thermage/Ultherapy/Exilis, TruSculpt iD, or Coolsculpting. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Chin reduction surgery Hello, It looks like you could benefit from a chin reduction surgery. Typically, the surgery to contour the chin is done as an outpatient procedure under general anesthesia. A small cut is made either inside the mouth or under the skin of the chin, excess bone is eliminated, and the chin is contoured as per the desired shape. Afterward, the cut is closed using sutures. Consult with a skilled board certified plastic surgeon for that procedure. I hope this helps, Best of luck ! Randal Haworth

Answer: Chin reduction Chin reduction is not done with Liposuction or fat transfer. I suggest consulting with local oral surgeons or plastic surgeons in your community. You may want to contact each office in advance and ask if the Provider specifically has experience in doing chin reduction surgery. The procedure can be done by both plastic surgeons and oral surgeons. My best guess is you’re find oral surgeons may have slightly more experience doing these then plastic surgeons. Experience doing this procedure among the different specialties, will vary from provider to provider and to some degree based on what community you live in. The procedure is more involved than having liposuction. I recommend having multiple in person consultations to get an assessment and better understanding of treatment options. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
