I just had cool sculpting done yesterday. However they couldn't get my fat to suck into the applicator (love handles) so they used a "smooth sculp?? " No suction but pressed against my body tight and froze it that way. I'm worried this is not as effective? I can't find anywhere online that this is done???

Answer: CoolSmooth applicator CoolSculpting comes with a number of different shaped applicators. One of these applicators is called the CoolSmooth which is a flat paneled applicator that sits on top of your fat and does not suction. It is used for non-pinchable areas of fat. So you did still get Coolsculpting, the technician just used a different shaped applicator on you to better treat your area of concern. Hope this helps!

Answer: Cool sculpting verse "smooth sculpting"?? Yes these newer applicators are designed to effectively reduce fat deposits which cannot be "sucked" into the older applicators. They are safe, effective, and FDA approved.
