I’ve started noticing the skin around my jawline looking saggy and wondering whether this is jowls (see photo). I’ve had buccal fat removal 12 years ago so concerned this may have contributed. I’m only 35. Would FaceTite be a good option or are there less invasive procedures which could improve the appearance of my jawline? Many thanks
Answer: Morpheus 8 FaceTite is a great option when it comes to removing unwanted fat and tightening the skin. In this case, Morpheus 8 would be the best option for you as you do not have enough fat for a FaceTite treatment. Morpheus 8 is a combination of radiofrequency and microneedling that stimulates collagen and elastin. By doing a series of Morpheus 8 we are able to target your concerns, tightening the skin and exposing the jawline more. Not only would this be a great option for skin tightening but it will also smooth out the texture of the skin. A minimum of 3 treatments is recommended.

Answer: Jawline definition Yes, FaceTite can help to tighten the skin of the lower face and neck. Morpheus8 is another option to address skin tone and texture. You can also consider fillers in addition to these treatments. Fillers, such as Juvederm Volux, are specifically designed to help define and contour the jawline. See an expert provider near you to learn more.

Answer: Facetie for jowls Hi. Thank you for your question and photo. Facetite is a good option from what can be seen in this photo. Less invasive procedure that could help is Morpheus 8, but you would get much better result with the combination of the two. You can start with a series of 3 of Morpheus and see how you like your results and if you want more improvement, then have Facetite done. Keep in mind that who does the procedure is as important on what procedure is done. I would recommend to see someone with plenty of experience in both invasive and non-invasive procedures to determine what is best course of action for you.

Answer: FaceTite Hello, hope you are well. Thank you for posting your question and photo. FaceTite would be a good option for this degree of skin and soft tissue laxity. This is a minimally invasive procedure that does not result in surgical scars, and it is typically performed under local anesthesia. I often combine it with RF microneedling as well (e.g. Morpheus8). Good luck! Best,Dr. Tower

Answer: Improving the Jawline Contour Thanks for your question. Based on your images it looks like you would be a great candidate for this procedure. FaceTite cannot be performed on anyone with an implanted device such as a pacemaker or implanted defibrillator. There are otherwise very few contraindications. For an extra level of tightening and smoothing it can be combined with Morpheus8 micro-needling externally (Morpheus8 operates off of the same platform as the FaceTite, it is just a different handpiece). This combination is called EmbraceRF. The Morpheus8 can also dissolve unwanted fat cells such as in the double chin region, further enhncing the contouring. Results begin to be apparent at about 3 weeks post procedure and continue to improve for at least 6 months. Results typically last 5 to 7 years (depends on your rate of ageing).
