Is this normal 5 days post liposuction of the chin?

Hello, I had Vaser Lipo under my chin, upper neck, and jawline this week. I am 5 days post. The day after at my follow up appointment everything looked perfect. I was warned that I would temporarily “lose” my results to swelling. I understand this but I am concerned about a roll/limo that has developed under my chin. Does it look like it is just from swelling? I’m worried it’s loose skin or fat left behind. Thank you.

This is normal. You will have swelling, which will gradually resolve over the next several weeks. If you remain concerned, I recommend following up with your surgeon. Hope this helps.

Still very early in healing phase if after 1 month there are still appearance issues than revision is indicated or injection of KyBella. It is NOT the technology used in liposuction but the experience of the surgeon related to successful outcomes. Personally I feel Vaser incorrect lipo technology to be used especially in chin areas. I use superficial lipo with 2 mm Las Vegas cannula.
