I'm wondering if crying during the initial 7-10 day healing period after upper blepharoplasty (while stitches are still in) would affect it in any way or so any damage?

Answer: Crying after blepharoplasty Crying after blepharoplasty will not directly effect the healing but indirectly it can. By that I mean most people that are crying keep rubbing and touching the eyelids which can certainly effect the healing process. Hope you feel better. Best wishes.

Answer: Cry after blepharoplasty Crying will not affect healing after blepharoplasty as long as you don´t rub your eyes heavily after. I usually recommend my patients to use artificial eyedrops to prevent dry eye and healing is great. For the most part, scars are not a big concern in either upper or lower blepharoplasty.
