Upper blepharoplasty, webbing. Will this resolve on its own? What caused this to happen? (Photo)

Tomorrow will be 4 weeks since my upper and lower blepharoplasty. At week 2, I began to notice webbing on the inner corner of my right eye. There seems to be a pucker at incision on this eyelid, again in the inner corner. Will this resolve on its own? What caused this to happen? Thank in advance for your responses. .

Usually the webbing gets worse. You want to wait about 3 months from your surgery and then consider eyelid web scar surgery. See following link for an example.

At this point, it's difficult to make conclusions without seeing pre operative photos. By comparing your pre and post operative photos with your surgeon, it's the best way to analyze any nuisances or differences between sides.

Upper eyelid webbing at the inner corner following surgery is typically a result of the incision coming too close to the nose causing the nasal skin to contract towards the eye. Discuss this with your surgeon. While massage can sometimes relax small webs, a minor revision procedure may be necessary to correct it (Z plasty). Good luck!
