How can I define my lip lines and cupid bow? What do you think of my lips?

I would like to add maybe a little volume to my lips I think they are a little thin, I don't really like the shape. What would you do to make my lips look beautiful? Any links or pictures that can help?

Most doctors will start with one-syringe to avoid overfilling. These fillers, (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good to create a symmetrical and full lip. PDO NovaThreads can also be used to improve shape and also provide lift. Fat or implants are a permanent alternative. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. As several of the doctors before me have said, your lips show very good definition and shape. On profile, the upper lip does not appear to be as well visualized as we see on front view. Also, the upper lip is somewhat paler than the lower lip, making it a little more ill-defined. Generally speaking, the upper lip should be slightly forward of the lower lip and have a height equal to or slightly less than the lower lip. You can improve the fullness by hyaluronic acid or fat injections. And the slight lack of definition can be improved with lipstick. I would avoid permanent make-up.

Thank you for the question and your pics. Defining the lips, including the Cupid's bow, can be accomplished with soft tissue fillers. In most cases, this is a hyaluronic acid (HA) based filler, such as Juvederm and Restylane. In addition, these fillers can be used to add volume to the upper and lower lips. The injections last about 9 months and are performed in the office with numbing medicine for increased comfort. Best of luck moving forward!

It's a relief to hear that you want to accentuate your lip lines and not necessarily the lips themselves because your lips have an ideal volume already! I find that, in individuals with a very aesthetic lip configuration, such as yours, a bit of Juvederm Ultra placed right around the lips over the "white roll" region can yield extraordinary results without giving you a "fish-mouth" look that occurs whenever you add too much volume to already volumized lips. In addition, adding a bit of Juvederm to your cupid's bow and philtral columns will do good as well. I wouldn't anticipate requiring more than half to 3/4 of a juvederm syringe. Best of luck :)!
